Providing consistent and reliable electricity and taking care of issues quickly. Any programs for the elderly and/or financially needy are welcome.
The best community response is to provide clean, cost efficient electricity in a safe manner. Everything else is just wasting customers money.
Quick response and reliable service when storms hit. The most valuable thing the coop can privide is affordable power. This helps all other areas of the community, when people can afford power.
Agree.
Quick response to the outages in any type of weather as well as supporting our youth with education and scholarships is great. Making the public aware that you are visible is good as well.
Reliable power, scholarships, education, fast service when needed. I've always liked the roundup program but it doesn't move the needle greatly for me.
Quickly restoring power during outages. Friendly and helpful office staff. I'm unfamiliar with what all the cooperative is involved in outside of providing electric.
Your help and all the programs you have and do for the community show that you take pride in your community. It also shows your care for your community and customers.
Quick response in outages. I have no desire to see anything from GVP except reliable and affordable power.
The Cooperative's first priority is to supply power and do it consistently resolving outages quickly. Secondarily, all cooperative's are community influencers who use their resources for the good of the community. This Cooperative has used it's resources in many ways to foster community well-being and growth, and should continue to do so as the Board supports. Some community areas to consider in the future are scholarships, the needy (elderly and economically challenged), and just plain old fun community gatherings.
That they invest in youth. They provide scholarships, do the youth tour, and give to teams and clubs.
They are already largely involved with our community and the needs, but the main responsibility is their sole business of provideing reliable energy to our community!
I find the most valuable way the cooperative supports the local community is offering fair prices for electricity, quick response times during severe storms or outages. I am just finding out about the other great services you are providing and I think community involvement is amazing to help our fellow citizens.
Having been a member for 25 years I feel that United Cooperative has been quick to resond to outages.
They have offered energy use assessments both online and in home to help the consumer improve their usage.
Offering scholarships particularly to students who excel and may need assistance to further their education is an excellent way to help.
Local food assistance is paramount to the community.
I like how they use unused credits for scholarships for young people.
The trip to Washington was monumental for our oldest daughter. Providing scholarships are invaluable for students struggling to go to college.
