to be fair here i don't think a social media page is relevant anymore. People have moved on to text and TikTok videos. Personally, I think it would be easier to do a mass group text message letting members know of any outages or other issues in their area. Not everyone has social media.
By including pertinent information regarding my power or maybe a break down of solar panels.
educational, tips and tricks, timely updates, but you have to find a way to connect with people. Make it fun, add influencers,
More up to date information, especially during outages. News on what the Coop is doing daily to improve service or cost. Showcase employees.
post pictures and videos of what exactly the employees do at different job sites. We need the younger generation to be interested in this type of profession.
I'm 74, and I guess I just don't have any problems with any of this.
I can't even remember the last time that I needed any information from the electric company so apparently you're doing a great job for me.
Thank You.
Other than planned outages, I don't think it is really relevant. Most people know the informaition shared, or don't care. When people want money or electric saving tips, they tend to search for them instead of stumbling acorss them.
I do not use social media and find very little value in Trico utilizing it or dedicating time or money to keeping it up to date.
Everyone wants to have a social media page, and send you an email. I think these have lost effectiveness due to the sheer volume of non-valuable messages sent. Most are just a bunch of ads. No value. If you have an outage, send a text. I would not look at social media. I don't think I even have a social media account. Otherwise, I can't think of anything that would make social media important enough for me to look at regularly. I'd wait for my friends to read it, and then I'd ask them about it most likely -- assuming it is of any interest at all.
Mainly an information like outages and rebate incentives or upcoming events, maybe even a do it yourself section.
