News, social media, email, streaming, shopping - I think we use all of these things daily. Information and connection to others are very important to our home.

Probably the most important is ready access to information. Being able to be up to date on something newsworthy or being able to access information on how to troubleshoot or fix something come to mind.

Also communication that is facilitated by reliable internet service is important. We regularly utilize video calling to stay in touch with friends and relatives that aren't nearby.

Information and searching is so important to me. Shopping and communicating with friends and relatives.

We mostly use the internet to stream Netflix, Disney, etc. Spotify. We also like being able to FaceTime.

I don't think I could state what is most important. Each aspect of our on-line life is equally important.

Streaming tv and playing games and social media. With three in the household with phones and tablets we are always on one or the other.

online shopping health questions, doctors appointments, Facebook and personal entertainment

streaming services, and social networking, school work.

I think that education and streaming are most important to me.

We use our internet for phone service, television, paying bills, shopping, communication with our family and friends, home security, digital storage, education and news. All of these are important to our life management now. I can't imagine going back to life before the internet.

Streaming is most important in our household.

Most important to our family: streaming, shopping, reading, education opportunities, gaming

Service is used for remote work, streaming, and online schooling.

I prefer to pay bills, make doctor appointments and shop online.

We use the Internet frequently to pay bills online, do online banking, stream tutorials, communicate with family, check weather, stream movies, ect

I use it extensively for banking, research and staying in touch. Cell service is always spotty at best, so the ability to send and receive timely emails is extremely important.

I think I answered this pretty well in the previous question. Just to recap: communication with friends and family, financial management, access to health information, keeping up with the news, and gaming are the main activities I engage in online. All of these are important to me, especially since I have retired and spend most of my time at home these days. It keeps me engaged in the outside world.

streaming/social media/work/business transactions/multiple devices

Online college is definetly the most critical followed by streaming services for entertainment.

Access to medical files and the ability to order medications are most important. streaming aka cut the cable cord has saved me thousands of dollars

Streaming tv, emails, justbthings that we all do daily in the world we live in. There isnt one that is more important than another. I just want it to work correctly when I am using it.

Streaming TV and music, social media, and Zoom meetings

News, information, shopping, banking, learning new skills, entertainment. The internet does what a library did many years ago, plus more.

Corporate work, online schooling for students, and farm operations work, plus as an employer programs for tax filing have moved to on line.

To be sucessfull at work depends on me being able to send and recieve information world wide instantly! MVLink allows me to do that reliably.

The necessities include: videoconferencing, email, internet research, online banking and medical portal access. A benefit we enjoy. but could live without: streaming of movies/shows, gaming.

Connections to banking, shopping, and general entertainment.
Where we live is rural so not a lot of options for tv services so we stream everything. Having the ability to shop for things instead of driving a long distance somewhere to look only to find the item isn't there is great! I can locate it and go get it or have it shipped if that is more convenient. Saves time and gas!

I use it for everything. It has made my life so much easier!

Streaming apps, zoom (for work), social media, news. Also, we don't have a landline phone and get zero cell service so we rely 100% on internet for cellphone communication. If internet went down and an emergency happened we would be in trouble.

Streaming services for news and information.
Access for online shopping.
Telehealth in an area with poor access to quality providers.
Access to social media for community communications.

Streaming, gaming, and news. Also i am in a low cellular coverage area and internet helps bridge the gap for reliable phone calls.

besides the normal things such as streaming, gaming, remote, work, updating, the most amazing thing is access to all the Internet of things in my home remotely.

Online shopping, streaming movies and shows, paying bills, planning and booking vacations, researching information for work, and completing work are a few things that I do with relaible internet

my caregiver uses the internet to do their monthly training. so having internet in my home is a must.

There isn't one thing that is more important than another at this point. We rely on the internet for pretty much every activity that is digital.

Access to news primarily; NPR streams (both music & talk) and PBS newshour are very big in this house. Social media/chat for staying in touch with friends and family.

I can't pick one thing. Society i spushign us to use the internet for everthing. Things we didn't do 10 years ago online we are now EXPECTED TO BE ABLE TO DO (TOUGH LUCK IF YOU DON'T HAVE BROADBAND!) online. For me teaching online, purchasing products online (stores in our area are limited and many have closed), keeping in touch with family and friends, getting information quickly, researching health, financial and other importnat issues would rank as the most important. Less important would be having access to movies and TV shows.
